⚖️🧘🏽♂️ Balance as Meditation: I am known for saying that “balance is a sensation, not a destination.” I love balancing as a meditation because you are never more focused than when you are trying to balance. Yet in order to balance, we have to let go of control, let go of expectation, let go of doing it “right.” Easier said than done. Which is why it is a worthwhile endeavor in the practice of yoga. Asana is meditation. We learn to sit within the waves of thoughts and judgements that pass through as we wobble. We find moments of peace, maybe a glimpse or two of stillness, then look! Squirrel 🐿️! When we can be in the moment with everything it has to offer… then we are really in balance. Life is one big balancing act. Let’s practice together!
